Our guests enjoy dining on our sweeping columned verandah, which overlooks the most opulent park in the historic district, Forsyth Park. Return after a day of touring the many fascinating historic sites and sink into a rocker, while sipping on some sweet iced tea or a glass of wine.
Retreat into the parlor where, during the cooler months, we have a roaring fire going, and our inn kitty, Sadie Mae, can usually be found curled up in a sunny corner.
One of the most beautiful areas at this Savannah inn is our private walled courtyard garden. The beautiful and relaxing sound of the garden's 3-tier fountain will just make you forget all of the stresses of everyday life. Within the walls of this magical garden are flowers for every season from cheerful daffodils of spring to purple hydrangea and Carolina jasmine just to name a few. Forsyth Park Inn's majestic courtyard garden has been the setting for many intimate, romantic weddings.
Just across the street from the inn is Forsyth Park built where one of the most beautiful fountains in the world was installed in 1858. Guests of the inn enjoy this absolutely breathtaking 30-acre park. If you are a walker, jogger, or just want to sit on a bench amidst the beauty of this historic park, consider it an extension of our inn's green space at just a couple of steps away.
