Celebrate spring's arrival by exploring all the color and creativity on the Art March. This month we are excited to announce we have three new locations! Come welcome the Savannah Law School, the Cultural Affairs Gallery, and Gypsy Girl Vintage to the Art March family!
At the Indie Arts Market on DeSoto Ave, you'll find jewelry, candles, soaps, fashion accessories, original paintings and prints, pottery, and more!
On Desoto Ave, along with the Indie Arts Market, you'll find the Kids Activity Area, where we will be making crafts inspired by spring's bloom this month! These nature inspired crafts are sure to captivate the whole family. Also you'll find the check in for the Art March Scavenger Hunt with the Savannah Bicycle Campaign and Spoke Models. Vinyl Appreciation will be setting the mood with feel good jams!
Ride in Style
This First Friday!
Hop on the Art March Trolley at any Art March location! The trolley will arrive at each location in 20 minute intervals. Park your car at Desoto Avenue and start the March there! At 9pm the trolley will make one last loop to take you back to wherever you need to end your night.
River Street Art Festival

This art show celebrates the visual arts, music, theater and dance! Rousakis Plaza will be filled with select local, regional and national artisan exhibitors displaying an array of fine arts. Come celebrate the arts on River Street with interactive activities for families and kids, community performances and live music featured on the Arbor Stage throughout the weekend. Weekend festivities will kick-off on Friday, April 4 from 4-10 p.m. and continue on Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. First Fridays & Saturdays on the River take place each month from March-December.

Chalk it up
The beauty of a rare art form dating back to 16th-century Europe comes alive again at the 33rd annual Sidewalk Arts Festival.
An annual tradition nearly as old as the university itself, the Sidewalk Arts Festival offers students, alumni and prospective students an opportunity to create temporary chalk masterpieces on the paved walkways of Savannah's scenic Forsyth Park every spring.
Admission to the event is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.

The sidewalk painters represent SCAD’s many areas of study, producing a diverse spectrum of chalk art inspired by distinct styles, backgrounds, interests, cultures and disciplines.Check out the incredible chalk art drawings and the artists who created them.
The Savannah Harbor Foundation has announced its inaugural gourmet seafood, spirits and music celebration will take place from April 25-27 at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa.
"AquaCurean" will showcase some of best seafood and hand-crafted spirits from Savannah and around the country. The AquaCurean Challenge includes a seafood recipe competition and a hand-crafted cocktail competition.
Seafood Challenge Competitors will submit recipes from categories including shrimp, all other shellfish, saltwater fish and freshwater fish to win cash prizes in both Professional Chef and an Amateur/Student divisions.
Executive Chef Sir Roger Michel, The Westin’s culinary team and culinary schools will recreate signature seafood recipes to be judged by industry professionals. The seafood competition guidelines will include submitting a recipe for six to eight servings and a photo of the dish. An online voting system will encourage people to make the recipes at home or taste them in local restaurants and vote for a “People’s Choice.”
Competitors will submit recipes from categories including gin, vodka, tequila, bourbon and rum to win cash prizes. These hand-crafted cocktail drink recipes will be recreated and judged by a professional team of mixologists.
